Description
Coyote Compressor is a DirectX plugin that implements high-quality compression
and limiting effects. Advanced audio processing algorithms produce a very clean
output, free of artifacts.
Some of the unique features of the Coyote
Compressor are:
- Emulation of several
different compression elements (electro-optical, voltage-controlled amplifier
(VCA), or simple exponential
- Choice of amplitude
detection type (peak or RMS)
- Control of the softness
of the "knee" region
- Separate sidechain
filter, to allow specific applications such as de-essing, or to prevent a range
of frequencies from affecting the compression amount
- Handles professional
audio formats, including 16-bit, 24-bit and floating-point, at up to 192 KHz
sampling rate

Evaluating and purchasing Coyote
Compressor
You can install the demo
version of Coyote Compressor and run it for the purposes of evaluation. It is
fully functional but it will mute the audio for a half-second every 30
seconds.
Once you have decided to purchase Coyote Compressor, payment
may be made by cheque, money order or credit card. The registration fee is only
$25.00 U.S. and this entitles you to technical support from Coyote's responsive
support staff, as well as a free upgrade to any future version of the plugin.

(available free from Microsoft)

suitable)
